The action defines what happens to users who meet all configured conditions.
Each rule can have exactly one action.
Depending on the selected action, additional settings may be required. For example, when sending an email, an email template must be selected.
The following actions are available:

| Send Email | Sends the selected email template to all matching users. An email template must be selected for this action. |
| Block User | Blocks the matching user accounts. Blocked users can no longer log in until they are unblocked. |
| Unblock User | Removes the block from the matching user accounts. |
| Delete User | Permanently deletes the matching user accounts from Joomla. |
| Add User Group | Adds the selected Joomla user group to all matching users. Existing group assignments remain unchanged. |
| Remove User Group | Removes the selected Joomla user group from all matching users. Any other group assignments remain unchanged. |
| Log Only | No changes are made to user accounts. Instead, all matching users are recorded in the log only. This action is especially useful for testing or evaluating rules. |
Depending on the selected action, additional configuration fields will appear in the lower section of the rule. These must be completed before the rule can be saved.
Note: If you want to send an email and then perform another action—such as blocking or deleting a user—you must create multiple rules. Only one action can be configured per rule.
